Two Award-Winning Projects, One Excited Client And A Record-Breaking Year

Renaissance Homes - Mobile App

This year at the 2013 Home Builders Association of Metro Portland Excellence Awards, our client Renaissance Homes took home the awards for Best App and Best Video Series. As the digital marketing agency/advertising agency for Renaissance Homes we were very excited for our client and honored to be their partner in developing these two award-winning projects.

Best App

The idea for the app came about after a thorough analyzation of Renaissance Homes’ web traffic data. Looking for trends within this data it was discovered that over 30% of the Renaissance web traffic was from mobile users. This was an anomaly, most of our clients had mobile traffic counting 10-20%. To take advantage of this opportunity we recommended and developed a Move-In Ready Homes app that would make it easy for home-buyers to shop for their favorite Renaissance Home on their iPad or other mobile device.

The app took the most popular page on their website and made it mobile-friendly. And as a result, Renaissance Homes saw an increase in overall web traffic, time spent on the site with the brand as well as increased conversions.  Being able to cater to mobile users as efficiently as desktop users not only helped Renaissance Homes take home an award but also greatly improved their bottom line.

Best Video Series

The video series grew from our client’s affinity for video content. Renaissance wanted us to develop a documentary video series (18 in all) about each stage of their construction process featuring their president Randy Sebastian. We did this shoot at a myriad of locations over a two year period, in a run and gun style with few control points. With active construction moving quickly, we were able to catch all of the key stages of construction to create a compelling story through this video series.

Our in-house crew’s strong organizational and editing skills provided a cohesive end result demonstrating each stage of construction and effectively telling the story of why Renaissance Homes is a highly recognized and awarded brand.

The video series launched on both Facebook and the Renaissance website and was very popular among home buyers, increasing the demand for Renaissance Homes. This ultimately increased sales and led to a record year for Renaissance Homes.

After Renaissance Homes won the Best Website Award in 2012, we are very excited to again be part of their record-setting and award-winning year. We are so grateful for our partnerships with innovative clients and look forward to many more fun and "awarding" projects in the future.
