Headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, Prospera Credit Union strives to serve their members through a holistic financial journey; guiding members and offering sound financial advice through each stage in life.
We partnered with Prospera Credit Union prior to redesigning their website. Our common goal was to create a continuity with their new brand and message while visually conveying the idea of people helping people. We chose images and graphics that better reflected the story of Prospera Credit Union’s core vision for helping their members:
Your Financial Dots….Connected.
Prospera Credit Union was struggling with a website that didn’t accurately reflect their brand and wasn’t performing well for the bulk of their users and prospective members.

Prior to the Redesign
Prospera’s website was on an old WordPress theme, making it difficult for the PCU team to update. One of our first tasks was to incorporate the Gutenberg editor into the new theme.
The updated website also needed to represent the client’s new branding initiative well. We had several priorities to allow the new branding to shine.
- Imagery that represented their demographic well was high on the priority list.
- Tone down the colorful former theme throughout

Web design made right
We prioritized Prospera’s top goals: ease of use, continuity of brand and messaging, and bright, clean design.
During the website design process, our branding work for one of the credit union’s services was embraced as a new direction for the entire brand.
Prospera’s holistic and collaborative approach to financial prosperity was communicated through the creation of what we called “the wheel,” a figure with no start or end and which is easy to move around and through.
After the decision to rebrand the credit union was made, we worked closely with Prospera to realign their website content and imagery to better compliment and underscore their brand’s promise of “Personal, Tailored Guidance to Prosperity,” and incorporate the ideals behind the new tagline we fashioned for them: “Your Financial Dots…Connected.”

- Visual icons helped demonstrate the blend of credit union functions and member service
Couldn't Be Happier. Edge assisted Prospera with both a website overhaul and a brand evolution. We could not be happier with the outcome of both projects. We interviewed several agencies for the projects, however, Edge stood out in expertise and creativity.
